Know Your Number. Plan Your Retirement.

Free Indian retirement calculators

Know your number.
Plan your retirement.

Work out the corpus you actually need after inflation, see how much monthly income it can generate, and find out how long your money is likely to last. No sign-up, no sales pitch, and nothing you type ever leaves your browser.

Three questions, answered with your own numbers

Everything on this site exists to answer one of these. Nothing on it will tell you which fund or stock to buy.

01

How much do I need?

Your expenses, inflated to your retirement date, then capitalised across every year you expect to live. The answer is rarely a round crore.

02

How do I generate income?

Systematic withdrawals, dividends, distributions and interest all behave differently — in cash flow, in tax and in how much control you keep.

03

Will it last?

Withdrawal rates, inflation, longevity and the order in which returns arrive. The uncomfortable questions, run against your own figures.

What if?

The value of a projection is not the number it produces. It is how much that number moves when you change one assumption. Every calculator here is built to be argued with.

How we work

One engine, no contradictions

The corpus calculator and the SWP calculator run the same month-by-month simulation. One is the other solved backwards, so they can never disagree about the same plan.

Assumptions on the surface

Every rate is an input you control, shown next to the result it produces. We publish where our conventions differ from other calculators and by how much, rather than quietly picking the flattering one.

Editorial policy

Calculations, not recommendations

We do not suggest funds, stocks or asset allocations, and we never will. This is a place to understand the arithmetic of your own situation before you make decisions about it.

Coming next

We would rather ship a small number of calculators that are genuinely right than a large number that are nearly right. These are in the queue.
